Shanghai Yizo Livestock & Poultry Technology Co., Ltd. (YIZHU LvCE) is proud to announce the successful completion and acceptance of the Guangdong Zhanjiang Xuwen Finishing Pig Farm steel structure project on November 11, 2025. This turnkey project — integrating design, fabrication, and installation — delivered 6 finishing pig houses built to the highest standards of quality and precision. Remarkably, just before completion, the project survived a direct hit from Typhoon "Mememe," a Category 14 typhoon, with zero structural damage.
From the initial design stage, the project team fully considered Zhanjiang's typhoon-prone climate. The structure was calculated to Category 15 typhoon wind resistance standards, strictly following the Load Code for the Design of Building Structures (GB50009-2012). High-strength galvanized steel was selected, truss joint designs were optimized, and roof and gable enclosure structures were reinforced against wind uplift forces.
The result? When Typhoon Mememe struck with 14-level winds, trees were uprooted and site containers were scattered — but the YIZHU LvCE steel structures stood firm, completely intact.
Throughout construction, the project team adhered to the guiding principle of "Safety First, Quality Foremost." Daily safety briefings covered electrical safety, lifting operations, and quality precautions. Site supervisors conducted regular inspections to identify and eliminate hazards.
A comprehensive quality management system was implemented, including project department inspections and company-level spot checks. All concealed works were jointly inspected and approved by both the owner and the project team before proceeding.
The enclosure system demonstrated excellent durability and stability, effectively adapting to local climate conditions. It blocks disease transmission pathways, enhances biosecurity, and supports healthy pig growth for improved production efficiency.
